Remuneration and Payroll Management @ Educational Institutions – An Interactive Best Practice Workshop

Workshop Theme

After 2 years of no workshops due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are delighted and grateful to say that all limitations that were instituted by government over the more than two years to curb the pandemic, were lifted on 23 June 2022. It has indeed been a challenging two years for the country and higher education institutions. During this period, the previous main sponsor of RAEI for more than 20 years, Adapt IT Education Division, has decided to withdraw from RAEI as of the end of 2020. However, RAEI members have by way of a survey, mandated Peet du Plessis, a former employee of Adapt IT responsible for the organisation of RAEI, and a retiree of that company, to continue as RAEI’s organiser. Therefore, this year’s workshop, although in structure the same as in previous years, is organised and sponsored by Peet du Plessis – Sole Proprietorship, t/a Best Practice Forums and Events.

RAEI presents this annual opportunity to its members and potential members to participate in in-depth discussions and workshops on all Payroll, Remuneration and HCM related matters and best practice processes, with a specific focus on the higher education sector, both nationally and internationally

Who should attend

All staff members from educational institutions who are responsible for the payroll and remuneration functions, as well as other related functions within higher education institutions.
